can someone explain what they did and post some info (i would GREATLY appreciate it).
did we have to register for classes, cuz if we did, then im screwed. any way i can register now?

does anyone have paperworks that i need to know about or etc.

basically all their was were seminars and guided tours.

Guided Tours: Covered alot, including description of colleges, locations, point of interests (Storke Tower, Lagoon, UCen). Nothing too special. We were not allowed to see the dorms for the sake of privacy. Afterwards, the tour ended with the housing fair, where you get general info about different dorms and apartments.

Seminars: I did not go to any of these. Basically, they range from “How to succeed in the first year”, “Housing Overview”, “Descriptions of several majors/colleges” (such as pre-med, college of science and letters, etc etc). There were also seminars that dealt with real world issues such as immigration.

Other than that, you are free to do whatever you want, walk throughout the campus/isla vista. You can’t eat at the dinning commons though.

No real important paperwork other than some pamplets and brochures.

Spring Insight was more to tour the campus, as the SIR deadline hasn’t passed and the school is trying to woo prospective students. Class registration doesn’t happen till Freshman or Transfer Orientation, and the first orientation sessions don’t start till late June.
