Murasaki: 50=630, NOT 51.(CR)

It's been corrected.

from saturday, writing experimental

math 50 - 720
cr 62 - 750
writ 45 - 73

hope that helps...

I seriously doubt missing 2 on reading gets you a 770 on any session.
Lowest by far ever in the history new sat if it was.

-2 800 reading
-0 800 math
-1 mc 9 essay 790

Score report for Math says:

"Number Right: 48, Number Wrong: 6, Number Omitted: 0, Total Number of Questions: 54, Raw Score: 47"

Shouldn't the raw score simply be 54 (# of questions) minus 6 (# wrong and 0 omitted) = 48. I realize that it's then converted into a score, but what does "raw" score mean if not a simply mathematical equation? Are the numbers in this thread for the number right or the Raw score number on the report?

there is a guessing penalty.
54-6-(6/4)=46.5
then you round that number to get the raw score.
each question wrong is -1/4

Muraski....add this to your chart...I got writing 39 which was a 62

OK -- I didn't know the penalty was reflecting in the "raw" score.

So missing 6 on math was a 690.

Missing 1 CR was an 800.

Missing 1 writing (score 80) Essay 10 was an 800.

GUYS HOW DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU GOT WRONG IN EACH SECTION ALREADY??? I thought that information was supposed to be released on Friday, April 28th.:(

Here's my reports, hopefully it helps you guys:

CR:
Raw 60
Score 720

This is filling out nicely.

To those that gave me two digit writing scores THANK YOU. To those that are still giving me three digit writing scores, please give me the two digit writing scores because I can't tell what the essay would have done to the MC score. I can only list the two digit scores by the curve. Thanks.

To the poster that says they've never seen -2 give 770, I'm just putting in what people have told me. If by some blunder CB screwed up, they can rectify it later.

Murasaki.....you missed a Writing score of 39 which is a 62....

Raw 51 is 750, not 740 (or there're two curves).

There were 3 versions of the test therefore 3 different curves.... on my version a 51 was probably around a 720 or 730 max...

yeah my 51 was 750

Thanks for the writing score I missed.

There is more than one curve
1) I'm pretty sure there is more than one.
2) I'm just going off of what people told me. Find whoever told me, and take it up with them if you don't agree, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
