Do you guys have estimates for the generosity of the curves? I have no idea what to think because I don't know how many I missed. I missed at least 2 on the CR and got 770, at least 3 (with 1 omitted) on the math with a 720, and god knows how many on the writing. Of course, I probably missed more than what I know of; curve predictions?

I thought score reports were available. My friend got hers today... they'll tell you how many you got wrong.

Look at your scores and to the right of it should be a a link that says "View my score report and Essay"

Her essay wasn't available but everything else was.

I got mine.

Math - 710 - 5 questions wrong: minus six raw points
Critical Reading - 740 - 5 questions wrong; minus six raw points
Writing - 770 - MC: 79 - minus 1 question/raw point; Essay: 9

I really want to know what I would have gotten with a 10 essay. If it's an 800 I am going to hurt someone...

You'd have gotten a 780 with a 10 on the essay.

I don't think that writing was that generous. I got three wrong (like four wrong basically - no omitted) and ended up with 72. That doesn't seem generous but I could be mistaken.

The Writing curve was brutal... I got 3 wrong and 73 as my raw MC score.

My friend got 3 wrong and a 9 on the essay and still got 800 last spring.

Waffle - I think I actually agree with you. It may seem like it was generous because I didn't get as many wrong, but I think it's just as brutal as it was back in January (four wrong = 69 MC). At least I feel better that a 10 would have only boosted my score 10 points. Thanks silvermoon. =)

Yeah :/ The writing MC has always been so harsh. I got 4 wrong and another point taken off for the negative marks on the January SAT and I got a 69 MC... Just 1 more correct question and my score would have been boosted from a 710 to 730.

I can't find it, can you be more specific?

Go to the page where you went to see your scores.

It should be a light blue box. The top of the box should say "test date... test... score.... action steps" Under the words 'action steps' should be a link that says 'View My Score Report and Essay'. Click on that and it should give you a comprehensive report on how many you got wrong.

Hmmm . . . no such option exists at the top of my blue box. I guess mine just aren't here yet.

EDIT: Sorry, I was at the wrong box. :P

From what I have so far . . .

*These are halfway combined because I've noticed at least one poster had a different test than me. For exampe, -3 on my test was a 72, on another it was 73 on the Writing section. These are still relatively close, I'll separate the two tests when I have enough scores.

Math:

54 800
53
52
51
50
49 720
48 710

Critical Reading

67 800
66
65
64
63 770
62
61 740

Writing

49 80
48 79
47
46
45 72

Hmm yeah I missed 5 on the math section and got a 700 instead of 710.

I think if there are conflicting scores for one raw score I'll just use a / to indicate both of them and eventually (if we get enough info) we can determine which was which.

The math curve is the same as the January math curve.... I got 6 wrong and got a 720.

However, the critical reading seems easier than the January one... 61 in January would have been a 730.

For the writing, it sort of seems the same because grade of 10 with 4 wrong was a 72 in 2 of the 3 versions of the test.

You guys do realize that there were two different tests right.... thus two different curves.

I am a sunday tester and the curve was *ed up!!!!
49 raw score math 690
58 raw score cr 690
soooo *ed

Critical Reading raw 65, 800
Math raw 51, 750

If you'd paid attention to my previous post, I acknowledged that fact and even proposed an idea for how to represent the scores.

CR 800 65
M 700 48
W 80MC (raw score of 48) 10 Essay
