March SAT Curve

Now that those understand your score report things are online, can we make a thread with the curve from the SAT. I know I think it would be interesting to see, and maybe helpful for people who are taking it in the future. Unless there's some rule against this, I think it might be helpful, so I'll go ahead and do as much as I know from my scores

Did you guys figure in the deduction for wrong answers?

On CR, I got 3 wrong and 1 omit, which is -4.75, rounded to five. :-)

-1 in Writing is 760??? That’s crazy in my opinion… what would -9 on CR be?

-1 in writing and a 9 essay was a 760

Wow, since I haven’t received my scores, I’m kind of scared to know them.

CR: 6 wrong (-7.5 or -8) is 720.
Writing: 2 wrong (-2.5 or -3) + Essay 8 is 710.

the math curve was arrant bullpucky. Tell me how 4 wrong is a 690 when the grade without any curve or modifications is a 740. 50/54 * 800 = 740…

What a lousy curve. Everything was basically super super easy according to this http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf</a>
I’m particularly mad that just 1 measly question wrong in math is a 760. That’s just incredibly dumb.

When i took it in october, i got a 9 on the essay and 2 wrong on the writing and got a 760.
My critical reading score however was terrifyifying.
my math score was a 660 :frowning: what frustrates me about that is when i looked at the details in the score report, i kept getting a consistent 2 questions wrong from every multiple choice type (algebra, geometry, number operations, probability…). quite upset that it was consistent too.
