APs Senior Year

I'm thinking about what classes I should take next year. I'm in this Cisco Networking Academy program at my HS, so here's what I have lined up for next year so far:

Cisco II-H (4 Blocks)
AP Literature
AP Statistics
AP Microeconomics

That leaves me with one more class. I'm either going to take AP Macroeconomics, or an unweighted elective, Investment and Financial Management.

Although my GPA will take a drop, it won't be much.
Cumulative weighted GPA w/ both economics courses will be a 4.53
Cumulative weighted GPA w/o AP Macro will be a 4.5

I want to major in Finance at a top school, so what do you guys think would be better? Would it be better to take a class related to my major and enjoy senior year w/ one less AP? Or should I just take AP Macro, because it'll look better on transcripts, although colleges will not see my senior year GPA?

Asked simular question early so here’s the thread. I know it’s not geared specifically towards your schedule but there are some universal ideas.

Bottom line is that you should take what you want. As long as you can pass the class with descent grades, then you can afford a .03 drop. Just don’t get to much senioritis ;)

thanks for the reply!

bump anyone else?
