<p>there's no way cornell can rescind your acceptance because of 1s or 2s on AP exams, right? and if you opt not to take an AP exam for an AP class you're taking, cornell can't do anything, right?</p>
<p>No, you can also just cancel your AP scores if you're that worried about it. Collegeboard doesn't send your AP scores to your college automatically, you must opt (and pay) to do that. Furthermore, Cornell wouldn't know if you took the course and the exam or not either way so you have little to worry about.</p>
<p>Um... what about for getting a 0 in an elective class (band) for having too many absences? 20 absences at my school gives you denial of credit unless you have a good excuse, which leaves you with a 0 for the year.</p>
<p>AP tests do not do anything negative. If you are a college and [IF] you see someone get below a 4 on an AP test it means that they have to PAY you to take that course. Now that isn't that bad of a situation for them lol.</p>
<p>and I think you can just write "Cornell University, etc..." on the AP test to get it sent for free if you do want it sent. Its in the teen dollars to get it sent afterwards.</p>
