ap's

Hey,
I'm a tenth grader picking classes for next year. The way the school is designed, you can only take Ap's in your junior or senior year (because of prerequistes). So I was wondering which AP's I should take junior year since when I apply to college I while have an Ap score for theses classes. Basically what I'm asking is which classes look best on my resume.

Ap Physics- Ap Biology - Ap Chemistry
Ap U.S - Ap European - Ap American government and politics

All of these classes are 15 credits except for Ap american gov.

Thanks.

Depends what your interests, future college, and future major are.

All of those classes will look good on your transcript. Take as many as possible if beefing up your transcript is your priority. Good luck

AP science classes are the most challenging but also the really boring AP's. Depends on your strengths.

"AP science classes are the most challenging but also the really boring AP's."

I would say that applies to AP histories... like you said it all depends on the person.

Yeah, definently the histories. AP us history sucks ...i wish i never took the class. Right now i'm up at 1:17 AM doing history questions cuz I forgot about them earlier..And it takes me forever :(

That sucks Sarah.

For history I think Im going to take American gov cause you do mock trial which seems cool even though the class is only 10 credits and for science i've heard pysics is much more math oriented than the other classes which will be easier than memorizing vocab.

man, I loved ap us History. It's not as fun as euro but it's still cool. there's a lot of reading but it certaintly won't kill you.

Take both AP science and history. Science is not boring because along with the theory there are a bunch of experiments. Like we just finished acid-bases, and we're doing an experiment about acid-base titration using amino acids. For history, if you don't like history it may be boring. but that depends on your teacher. ask other people who are taking it or have taken the course and ask how the teachers are.
oh yeah i recommend AP chem(lot of labs), AP physics(closely related to calculus), AP USH(arduous course, but I love it), AP Euro(I'm going to take it next year, but I heard it was pretty easy), AP Gov(I only recommend this because you will need some kind of social studies credit during your senior year. ALthough many colleges don't accept it compared to other APs, it is interesting, if you like to talk about politics and supreme court cases.)
hope this helps.

Ive taken APUSH and Phys C. Loved Both. History was not my best subject, but i liked it anyways. It did make me work my rear off. Physics C is the calculus based physics, also another work your rear off class, but im in love. You learn so much more than a normal phyiscs class. Phys B Ive not taken so I cant comment on it.
