I'm a sophomore this year but i'm choosing my classes for next year now. So far this is what I have for junior year

Gym 2/Health 2 (All juniors have to take it, if i had the choice i wouldn't)
SAT prep verbal/math
honors spanish 4
honors world history/ dual enrollment
intro to calc
honors british literature (i might just take regular british lit though, i'm not sure)
Physics (I haven't decided on whether I should take honors or not)

I have one more spot and I'm deciding on not taking an elective and taking an AP but I don't know which AP I should take. There are only a few ap's that a junior can take. I think I'm either gonna take AP United States History, AP United States Government and Politics, or AP microeconomics. Can someone rate my schedule and tell me in their opinion which ap I should take.....like which one is the easiest.
thanks!

To start, I’m not going to rate your schedule because there’s no point. But I do like your schedule and it looks really challenging. When picking AP courses, go with your gut, pick the one you are really interested in. That’s why we have AP courses, to encourage students to explore their favorite subject in great depth and gain college credit. I can’t really tell you which class to pick because it’s ultimately up to you. Also for advice, choosing an AP course because it’s easy is a no no, it defeats the whole purpose. Do you enjoy history of the US? Do you enjoy how the US works in terms of the government and wish to learn more? Or, do you want to learn more about economics and how it works? These are the types of questions you should be thinking of to help you choose good luck.

Pick the one that interests you most (as long as you have time for it). APUSH produces a lot of homework in the form of long readings, so if you are a slow reader and don’t have the time to regularly do 40 page readings don’t take the class. Other then that go with what you enjoy, APs are always a lot of work, don’t commit to an AP that you are not truly interested in.
