If I was to take the SAT II before the ap tests in may, would I need to study differnt things other than what I was studying for APUSH? Or would it be all covered. Also, has anyone done this? What did they get on both tests. Thanks for the help.

My son got a 4 on the AP and 790 on the SATII. He basically studied the AMSCO book for both.

Anyone use these?

the material is similar.

however, APUSH is more about trends and big ideas, while SAT US hist. is more factual.

Which AMSCO book? Thanks!

it's called United States History Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination, published by AMSCO. i'm pretty sure you'll have to order it online

i'm using the REA book for the AP USH test
would that suffice for the SAT II US history exam?

^ I"m doing the same exact thing. I've heard many testimonies of people who used REA for the SAT II US History exam and were very successful (750+).
