Omgg!! If you can do that for me I would be so thankful!! Thank you so much cause I been worrying over this the whole day today. So I basically talked about mlk and rosa parks in the era of the 1920s and for the 1950s I talked about like suburbia. Ugh !! I’m so stupid… Bit please, if you have a chance, can you ask your teacher? Thanks soooooo much!!!

If I have a chance I will. I can’t guarantee it because I’m a senior, and today was my last day of classes, so next week all I do is go in to hand in assignments that are due next week and take finals. We only have to go to class until all the HW and finals are finished for that class. I have 3 finals to take, have to go to 2 classes Monday, 2 Tuesday, 1 Wednesday, 1 Thursday, and that’s it, but I’ll probably stay there because I don’t have time to come home or anything between the class periods I have to be there for.

I know what periods that teacher doesn’t have class, so if I get in there to ask my question during that time, I’ll ask her, provided that she’s not terribly busy at the time, because she tends to have tons of people in there everyday for questions and stuff.

I’ll let you know if I find anything out! Again, I won’t til Monday at least, if not Tuesday…depends when I have time to go talk to her. Might have to work on a final during that class period Monday when I know she doesn’t have class.

But your teacher made it sound like you would have a 3 out of 9 at least still? Did he/she seem confident in that, or total guess?

O if you can’t, it’s fine but I wanted to know a second opinion. But I u find out, I’ll be so thankful! But my teacher said as long ad u add some detail to the prompt and the reader understands that you understand the prompt you should get at least a 3. But since your teacher grades ap frqs I was wondering what she would give…

Oh, it’s not my old APUSH teacher that grades real FRQs- it is my old AP Gov teacher (who now also teaches US History) that is an AP Reader. He would know, but I don’t see him a lot, whereas the APUSH teacher might know too (although she’s not actually an AP Reader) because she tends to know a lot about AP tests anyways, and I still talk to her quite a bit. So I’ll try to ask her.

O ok whoever is fine. I just want to know a second opinion other than my Apush teacher.

i think both of my frqs were embarrassing…in my second wrote about dubois and booker t, mlk and malcolm x and black separatism, panthers, nation of islam, and stuff like that. even if it was really a horribly written essay, could i pull off a 4/9 at least for mentioning a lot of stuff? and my 2nd frq i had literally like 15 minutes so i wrote about how it started with anti federalists and federalists then democratic republicans then i wrote about free soilers and then democrats, republicans and whigs and everything but very vaguely…does simply mentioning things related to the topic get me any pity points? if so, how many usually

I think if you mentioned things and have some sort of analysis, it would work for some points. It doesn’t sound that hard if you’re just hoping for a 4 out of 9.

But how about in my case?? I totally wrote off the time period for the African American frq. I didnt mention brooker t Washington or Garvey… I accidentally wrote about mlk during he 1920s. What would I get? I mean if u think u added lots of info in the right time period and you’re hoping for at least a 4, what would I receive. I literally did not think about anything after the Apush exam only the fact that I screwed up on the frq

^I think yours was already discussed…don’t know for sure, but since you were asking about getting at least 3 out of 9, that sounds reasonable. I think they give you something for trying and being close to it, but again, they are going to see you misread the question. It’s tough to know, and you will never find out what you got on the FRQ- all they tell you is the 1-5 scale overall.

No… They will probably think I’m stupid cause throughout my. Essay I wrote on a different time period but I understood what the prompt was asking cause I was talking about the prompt but it in a totally different period. But people were saying how they didn’t include enough info so they are getting a 4. But I’m getting a 3 for writing in a differ time period? Is there like a huge difference btw a 3 &4?
