No, most of that stuff is outside Gilded Age on both sides!

Think the Compromise of 1877, labor strikes, meat packing industry, carnegie, rockefeller, horizontal and vertical integration, Panic of 1873, Panic of 1893, bimetallism (cross of gold!)

I’m really worried about US history up till TR.

Anyone want to refresh my memory on Jefferson vs Hamilton??

^ And how exactly did you remember that? Seriously? haha

Was there a scandal between Jefferson/Hamilton? All I know is that Hamilton was for big business and big banks. Heck that’s prob not right.

Wait, so predictions are for Gilded Age? Hmm…I’m really considering WWI.

Jefferson advocated a weak central government, no tariffs, favored strict interpretation of the constitutions, favored agriculture, etc.

Hamilton was the complete opposite of that ^, he advocated a strong central government, a bank, high tariffs, loose interpretation of the constitution.
I think you’ll be fine with the Jefferson/Hamilton stuff.

And the guilded age it was! Think I did pretty well, if I say so myself :)

Hah.

What a coincidence.
