So the APUSH test is in 2 weeks and I haven’t really prepared much outside of school review. This is mostly due to the fact that I haven’t a clue how I should approach preparation.
My school has assigned a review project to help but it’s mostly going to be me trying to make sure I follow the project criteria rather than studying.
I’ve never been great at studying but have always been a pretty good student. I really want to do great on this test as a 5 is required for certain schools I’m planning on applying to.
So, any advice? Any feedback would be appreciated!
Hi! I’m an APUSH student this year too, and I haven’t started studying yet either…haha. But this is what I’m planning to do (hopefully I will actually accomplish all these things).
-memorize important dates (End of salutary neglect (1763), Articles of Confederation, Constitution, Louisiana Purchase, Civil War, Reconstruction, Spanish-American War, WWI, Great Depression, WWII, Cold War, Vietnam War, important amendments (13-15, 19, whichever one prohibition is))
-Practice tests (I believe College board has some released online)
-Watch Adam Norris’s APUSH review videos on Youtube
-memorize important SC cases
-study the beliefs of the different parties
