APUSH related to World History at all??

I'm taking World History CP right now as a sophomore. I'm wondering if any of the information covered in World History will appear in APUSH. Are there any chapters of World History that I should focus more on so that I will have a basic general idea of US history? Btw, we are on WWII/holocaust right now in our World History book. Thanks in adv.

Btw, what are the best materials/books for APUSH? Thanks again.

dont worry about it. our class barely even mentioned America, and neither did the text. besides, any general information you do happen to learn in world history won't make or break you in US history. just worry about the world right now, and US will come next year.

not really. the two classes arent supposed to be intercorrelated among each other. w/e i learned in ap world last year isnt really helping except the 20th century stuff like the world wars and the cold war.

in apush, you really don't focus on anything but America until the 20th century with the world wars
in terms of the AP, both have the same layout
