APUSH - The Historical Experience

I am planning to take APUSH next year and was wondering how is the workload, homework and the course itself compared to AP Euro? Any comments about the course in general are great too!!! From what I’ve heard, its harder than AP Euro because the time span is somewhat shorter but much more detailed. Is it true?? Which review books like Barrons or PR should I use for the AP Test and SAT II test?? (aiming for a 5 and 800 respectively or anything close)</p>

<p>Workload and homework - Depends on the teacher entirely. Some teachers will assign weekly DBQs and still require whole chapter outlines. Some teachers will just do the outlines.</p>

<p>Course itself: Way easier than AP euro. Generally a more relaxed environment. Where as in AP euro you would be hard pressed to get a 4 without studying, in APUSH you can easily get a 4 on the exam without any out of class studying.</p>
