APUSH exam isnt that hard if you approach it this way.
Most questions will ask about facts or events. Then, the hard ones will be random questions about things you most likely wont know. You are meant to have enough of an understanding of history to make the right guess. Then, essays are just writing, thesis, conclusion and ur done!
"then I'm going home to play some mindless, violence-filled video games with my friends!" I second that motion

Guys how much do I multiply each of my essay scores?

APUSH= so easy.
Don't stress.
I knew nothing and pulled a 5.

yeah it shouldnt be too bad, except for the occasional arbitrary MC question

@gyros

Heres what sparknotes says:

4.50 X (0-9)-------DBQ
2.750 X (0-9)------FR1
2.750 X (0-9)------FR2

how many should i omit if i expect to get a 5.

dont admit more than 5

hehhe it's tommorow...

I did well in my APUSH class and did some studying, but otherwise I'm just chillin'....I expect a 4 or 5.

guys listen..... you can get a 55 raw score on the multiple choice and 3 6's for essays and still get a high 4...am i right or am i right

yeah don't worry about this...the avg. essay scores last year were like 2.7,3.5,2.9...i forget exactly, but if you get 3s and 4s on all your essays your average to above average, and i should hope everyone can pull at least 5s...get 6s and 7s and you basically have a 5.

I'm pretty sure I can pull off a 6 or higher on the essays.

sum1 wanna list all the different financial panics? i know there are a bunch i just kinda want a comprehensive list... almost all of them were caused by overspeculation

blah
I took an AP test from a long long time ago (when it was 100 questions and 75 minutes long)

and after #80, I missed 11 and left 2 blank.

assuming I got a 5 on every essay, I had a composite score of 91...

now If I chop out the last 20 questions and just go from 1-80......

W = 22 O = 6 R = 52

Raw = 52 - 22(.25) = 52 - 4.5 = 47.5 raw
4.5 * 5= 22.5
2.75 * 5 * 2=27.5

essay subscore = 50

50 + 47.5 = 97.5

w00t that's a 4..... i'll be happy w/ a 4, ecstatic w/ a 5.

The essays are scored out of 9 right?

Oh come on guys, don't panic all that much. I answered only 65 questions or so, leaving 15 blank. I'm pretty sure I owned that DBQ (wrote like 2.5 pages, front and back on it, though that doesn't necessarily mean anything) while I only wrote 3/4 of a page on the other two essays of my choice, while restating my thesis statement over and over while adding a bit of more detail with each paragraph each time and still came out with a 4. So relax, and enjoy the time you have left for now. Worry about the ass-raping you will endure from the test tomorrow.

So are the essays scored out of 9? Or 8?

The essays are scored out of 9.

Oh so each of them are scored out of 9? SOrry if i sound so stuupiidz

Yes, each essay is scored out of 9. However, the DBQ is weighted almost twice as much as the other two essays.

The two non-DBQ essays put together are worth more than the DBQ right?
