APUSH vs AP Bio

Hi everyone, I’m in the middle of planning my classes for junior year. Here’s what I have so far:
AP Bio
AP Stats
Dual enrollment US history
AP Calc AB
AP Lang
Spanish 5 honors
Orchestra

I’m just a bit conflicted between my history and science classes. I have yet to take a science AP, so that’s why I wanted to take AP Bio, but I’m wondering if I should just take another honors science instead of it and then take apush instead of dual enrollment. Then my schedule would look like this:
Physics
AP stats
APUSH
AP Calc AB
AP Lang
Spanish 5 honors
orchestra

So which one should I do? I have an A in AP world history this year but also got an A in my regular bio class last year. I guess I’m wondering which of the two (AP bio v. APUSH) is harder and takes more work after school, since I also want to focus on my extracurriculars. Also, how bad would either of these schedules be if I added AP music theory to it?

APUSH is much more work, at least in my experience. Our AP Bio class is structured so that we do most of our notes at school instead of our teacher lecturing. For APUSH however, I would spend hours at home taking tons of notes on extremely long and boring chapters. I’m more of a science lover than a history person, but this seems to be most people’s feelings at my school.

From what people have told me, AP music theory isn’t that bad, but adding to either of those options would be a lot.

I don’t really have a definitive answer for you, but there’s some more stuff to consider.

Those classes are total opposites in terms of interest. Take what you like more. Personally, I’m taking AP bio as a sophomore and it’s not a big deal at all because even though there is a lot of work, I LOVE it. On the other hand, I didn’t even consider taking APUSH next year even though it’s a similar amount of work because it would feel like torture for me.

Point being, the time spent becomes irrelevant on some level if you like what you are doing.

Lastly, is DE history really less work than APUSH?? It seems a little counter intuitive for me.

Agree with above posters. Why two math classes though?

My experience woth APUSH and AP Bio is spot on with the first reply.

You need physics, so plan to take it either this year or next year.
I’d stick with dual enrollment is history.
AP stats: remember that even if they offer credit you really want to take that class in college because it’s a class that goes under’relevant coursework’ regardless of the internship you’re applying for (employers don’t care what you took in high school) .

Why AP Bio now? Why not Physics?
Why two maths?
