APUSH vs AP EURO

I'm trying to think of whether I should take AP US History or AP European History junior year. Any suggestions? What are the main differences between the two classes?

The main difference is APUSH covers America
APEuro covers Europe.

They both require the same work.

If you already took AP World, take APUSH. There are a lot of similarities between Euro and World, enough so that some colleges may count them as the same credit. APUSH is not as similar to AP World. In terms of difficulty, the general consensus is World, U.S., and Euro from easiest to hardest. Although this might be different for some people, depending on themselves, their teacher, and school.

Take APUSH if it’s your first history class. I think it provides a good foundation because it only covers one country, however, AP euro covers 1,000,0000.

I personally found AP Euro to be much more interesting, so I did better in that, but since you already took world history, I’d recommend APUSH, which I find to be an easier class.

Ap Euro is more interesting, but harder. APUSH is very easy, but can get kinda dry at times. Both classes are fun.

I’m taking both at the same time.

^I think that probably depends on the person and their interests.

Basically: Do you like US or European history better?

This is what my teacher says who teaches both AP US and AP Euro. “If you have been living in the U.S. for most of your life, APUSH is the easier class. You have heard many of the topics since elementary school.”
