So earlier (like a week or two ago, I think), I asked whether or not to take APUSH during the summer. I decided to do that but I just found out that it might not be possible. I had planned on taking AP Bio and AP Lit next year, but I don't know whether or not to take APUSH with them. I am afraid that the coursework might be too hard to balance since I am in drama and I stay at the school until 5:00 normally. Would taking APUSH with AP Bio and AP Lit be too much too handle?

Those aren’t easy classes, but I’m pretty sure that you can handle it as long as you keep up with the work. I took AP Lit and U.S. History together last year (with AP Psych, as well), and I didn’t find it too difficult.

I took APUSH with AP Lang and AP Chem last year. APUSH is a lot of work, but I’m sure you’ll be able to handle it.

You obviously are balancing how much time you can devote to academics and ECs. What do your parents and school counselor say?

Also depends how you are with your ACT/SAT scores and how much time you are going to spend on college visits, college search, college applications (if it will be your senior year).

What are your HS goals; where do you want to go to college and what do you want to study? Are you relying on specific scholarships?

Sometimes you need to focus your energies in the way that will best help you.

Good luck.
