Arabs

I swear I immediately thought you were a girl for some reason. I was wrong lol

Man I'll have to change my nick name then!

if by nickname you mean your username, then no. there's nothing wrong about that..it doesn't seem girly or anything. wow! there is no real explanation. I have no idea why i thought you were a girl lol

Well then I guess it'll remain a mystery...

Hey Arabs!
I'm from Saudi Arabia,
Superwizard, how the hell did you get into stanford? btw where do you live Uae, dubai or ad?

For some reason, I completely forgot that American Education was offered in Saudi Arabia. Which is really stupid because I spent kindergarten through 4th grade in Saudi Arabia-I have a really bad memory!
Oh, and, juggieburger, there are 5 other Emirates besides Dubai and Abu Dhabi, you know..I lived in the latter for some time as well as one of the other 5 you neglected to mention.

hahaha I like juggieburgers question:

Answer:beats the hell out of me!
I had competitive SAT scores: 800M 700CR 660W (pretty sure they hadn't started considering writing :P). Good SAT2 scores 800MathL2 800Chem 740Phy. Best in my class in an international school which is pretty famous even worldwide (International School of Choueifat-ever heard of it?If not: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_School_of_Choueifat

Oh and I had outstanding recs from my teachers and from the director (also my teacher :) ) What else can I say??

BTW:I live in Al Ain (a city in AD) and the 5 other emirates you failed to mention were: Sharjah, Umm Al Kuwain, Ras Al Khaima, Ajman and Fujairah!

^hey, I go to Al Ain every summer lol. I just came back from there a week ago. and I lived in Um Al Quwain for a year...I was going crazy in that hell hole!!

Al Ain's okay but Um Al Quwain!!! Man I'd go crazy myself.
So I guess you've seen our mall? Its not bad is it?

there are only two malls in the whole city! The one with the tiny ice rink is okay. The one with Carrefour in it is way too small. but the city is nice in general.

Hahaha yeah there is really only 1. The one with carrefour doesn't really qualify. The one with the ice rink is the one called Al Ain Mall. Of course its siz is nothing compared to City Center, Burjuman, Ibn Battuta, Marina or Emirates Mall but its ok.

yeah...you can't compare anything in Dubai with anything anywhere else. The only thing Al Ain has that Dubai doesn't is the much less humid weather.

no we also have a lot more locals :D

Is that a good thing?

could go either way really.

I have hardly seen any locals there. only asians.

indians, pakistanis, nepali, bangladesh, taiwan, china, korea, philipines.....no arabs (or just very very few)

where did you go? Go to Al Ain mall on the top floor you'll find about 200 locals either playing bowling or next to the cinema. Also a lot more locals hang out in Cafes than in the mall.

that is where I see the locals. But they are alot fewer compared to the other people.

hahah, no man, i know the five other places. I just assumed, because everyone i meets seem to be from there, so you know?
aha,,,thats how you got into stanford. Yeah! ofcourse i know choeifat I have some friends that go to the one in abu dhabi.

And btw, i dont go to an american school. It's an all arabic school, but I just speak english lol.
