Which top 25 colleges have the biggest percentage of Arabs?
And have you ever heard of an Iraqi in an Ivy League?

Gee......why would we want to tell you if we know an Iraqi? Are you searching them out?? For what reason?

yeah I wanna wipe them out
HELLO I am an Iraqi and wondering if I can diverse an Ivy League!!

Sure you can diverse.....of course there are not huge numbers but you asked two different questions.....Arab and Iraqi. So....use it to your advantage. Are you living thus coming from ME or living in US?

I live in ME and have a US passport!!! Lucky me
Well I wanted to know if Arabs are well accepted at the Ivy's
(I apologize for the grammar mistake" diverse-->diversify"

You're accepted wherever you go, man. This is America =P

So you live in ME?? I love it up here....great golf, great food and great people.

are u by any chance an arab?

What schools are you thinking of?? When do you apply??

well would they be considered a URM? I think that is what he is asking. If not... then yes, you would be accepted, it is against the law for a college to reject you because of your race or nationality or religion.

Colleges always want more diversity. You have as good a shot as anybody (if not better, being a URM), so I would say go for it :)

aren't azns intimided by arabs in terms of smartness?

Do you mean East Asians.....like Chinese, Japanese??? I cannot imagine this to be but I have no first hand knowlege? Do you???

Haha you remind me of a long and intense rivalry between a bunch of arabs and a large group of Korean and chinese immigrants. The asians gave no heed to the arabs and kept sleeping in class everyday whilst at the same time pulling high 90s(HOW DO THEY DO IT???). They woke up at the end of the year to find a new valedictorian: 5 Arabs! loool you should’ve seen their faces…even my closest asian friends were like “WTH?” haha

The OP is NOT a URM. While Arabs may add to the diversity of a campus, they are not considered URMs for admissions purposes. Remember, URM stands for Under Represented Minority, while Arabs are a Minority on college campuses, they are not Underrepresented in relation to their representation in the overall population.

Diversity DOES NOT equal Underrepresented

So seeing that I am from a distant land (that will add more diversity) with qualifications, experiences, and language skills that many people from there DON’T have…would that add to my “pull” for admission(specifically Ivies)?

How in the world did you find this (5 year) old thread?
