Architecture + merit scholarship transfer?

Hi yall! For backstory, i was accepted ea with the 30k scholarship, however i listed studio art as my intended major (4 yr degree). however, i am thinking of switching to architecture (5 year degree)! i am scared my merit scholarship will only be given for 4 years since that is what i selected, is this true? i emailed my admissions counselor but he wont be back until jan 7th and im getting worried :frowning:

Per Tulane’s website https://admission.tulane.edu/tuition-aid/merit-scholarships:

[blockquote]The majority of merit scholarships are renewable for 4 years (or 5 years for architecture students), provided the student maintains good standing with the university, a full-time course load, and a designated minimum GPA.[/blockquote]

I think you should wait to hear back from admissions, just to be safe!

Also, it seems that architecture is one of those majors you should be sure about going in. The 2018 curriculum plans out each year, and they are busy:

I am a 1st year student in the B.Arch program. It is nbd what you said your intended major was. Thats one of the great benefits of Tulane! However, you MUST sign up for studio in your first semester to graduate in 5 years! If you have any questions about the program, message me.
