If I am applying to an elite architecture school, like USC, WashU, Cornell, CMU, does having a high SAT score matter?
I have a 1310, taking multiple Ap classes, a great portfolio, gpa is 3.9, participated in art and architecture related activities, and volunteered 209 hours from 4 places.
Unless a school is test optional the SAT scores matter to at least some extent. You can look at the common data set for each college (google “XYZ University common data set”) and section C will tell you how much each school weighs standardized tests as well as some data on standardized tests such as 25th & 75th percentiles etc…
