Guessing the Stats for Cornell B. Arch

<p>Cornell B. Architecture program is probably the toughest to get into. As part of AAP, the acceptance rate is near 7%. It requires a Portfolio and an Interview is also mandatory.</p>

<p>I would appreciate guesses on the average:
- SAT Score (math, reading, writing)
- Math 2C Score
- Class Percentile</p>

<p>I seek other's opinions merely because admissions may be slightly or harshly different for an Architecture school, because Portfolio takes up a lot of decisive roles.</p>

<p>My Guess:
- SAT Score (740 math, 710 writing, 690 reading)
- Math 2C Score (740)
- Top 8 to 10 Percent</p>

<p>It’s really more about the portfolio than anything else…
Academic stats don’t really matter that much for architecture.
My friend had a 1300 CR+M and average GPA but she still got in.</p>

<p>None of these matter. When will people start understanding that a lot of programs at Cornell do not have a stats-driven admissions process?</p>

<p>Of course I understand that aspect.
I went to information session to Cornell and also I’ve heard that my SAT scores are sufficient, and that SAT’s don’t matter so much either.</p>

<p>I just wanted to try to grasp around what level it is, as well.</p>

<p>knowing some of the professors that review portfolios for admissions, I’d be surprised if they were even aware that the SAT is now scored out of 2400 and not 1600.</p>
