Is is possible to switch from Architecture major to Civil at Viterbi, considering the fact that both are different schools. And if one can , is it done/possible to do at orientation or after a semester ?

Switching into the engineering school once you’ve been admitted to USC is a straightforward process, and you should begin at summer orientation. At orientation the engineering advisors will work with you closely to schedule the appropriate courses and get you on track in the engineering degree program. If you do well in your courses (Bs or better), you will be formally admitted to the program.

To start the process just fill out this form once you’ve submitted your commitment deposit and registered for orientation: http://viterbinotes.usc.edu/pre-engineering/

After that, Viterbi will work with you at orientation.
