I want to join the Viterbi school of engineering, but if the field is too compeitive, I will apply as an architect major ( i have a portfolio), and hope to change my major.
Do they consider majors for undergrads? And if they don’t, can I switch majors immediately after i were to be accepted?
If you scroll through you’ll find this question has been asked many times before. It is possible to sign up for courses in Viterbi upon registration but you will need to get a B or higher in the three entry level courses for the major you want before they let you switch formally.
