Are 4 APs too many?

I’m currently a junior in high and have to register for classes for senior year.
I am planning to take AP Physics C, ap cal AB, and ap comp sci. However, I find it very tempting to take AP statistics, because 1) I have heard its mainly logic, which I’m pretty good at
2) I don’t have any other class to take. The other option is intro to stats, which is super chill at my school.
1 option would be to change ap phys C to 1 and take ap stats.
Or just not take stats
Do you think having phys C, ap comp sci, ap stats and ap cal AB is manageable?

It’s hard to think of an easier AP than Stats…I would say just add it on top of Physics C, Calc AB, and CS. Definitely do not drop down to Physics 1, which is for non-STEM majors.

Take the 4 APs. They’ll look good if you’re planning on majoring in a STEM field. Besides, Statistics and Computer Science are both easy. If you’re good at math, AP Calculus AB shouldn’t be that bad either. AP Physics C, on the other hand, might require the most studying…

I took 4 APs last year. If you are productive and can handle the workload, I say go for it. It should be manageable, especially if you are good at math.

I’d say it depends on the teachers…but generally I’d say go ahead if you think you’re up for the rigor!

That really depends on the person. It will be challenging, but totally doable. I would caution you however, particularly if you are targeting top colleges, not to take 4 STEM classes if it will result in not fulfilling college’s recommendations for humanities prep.
