can i say "LSA" sometimes in my supplement essay?

I did but only after I spelled out what LSA actually is originally. I also only referred to Ross as Ross after I called it by it’s actual name… I got in, as a transfer, but I don’t really know if it’s frowned upon. I would think that typing out Language, Science, and Arts would be kinda overkill and annoying if you were reading it.

I’d wait for some more feedback though, so I guess what I’m trying to say is… it’s not going to get you completely out of the running

yeah i spelled it out first!
let me know if you want to read mine… itd be really awesome… just sayin

Oh, you don’t want me to read yours haha… there’s a reason being an English major is one of the last choices for me haha

I agree with Scott — just spell it out the first time, and maybe the last too, but not every time. Beyond that, it’s just annoying. Using the informal name implies that you talk about the school a lot — and that’s a good thing. You can pm it to me if you want…
