Essay Help: Ross or LSA?

I'm applying as a pre-admit to ross and for the why Michigan type question, I don't know whether to talk about just Ross, just LSA, or both (the wording does not address this). I've heard from a couple of CCers to only talk about Ross, BUT they were all accepted as pre-admits so I'm unsure. I don't want it to screw my chances of being accepted to LSA by not even talking about the interest I have in it. Truth is, whether I am accepted PA or not, I will still attend Michigan (top of my list). So what do you guys think? (If anyone here was rejected as a pre-admit to Ross, but accepted in general and could provide their perspective that'd be especially great). Thanks!

Here is the prompt for anyone who doesn't know:

Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?

*also side question: is LSA synonymous with "the college of literature, science, and arts" in context? like could I say: "studying in LSA would be blah blah"

I wrote my entire essay about Ross and was rejected from pre-admit but accepted to the university, so it can definitely happen. If you’re serious about Ross then definitely write your essay about it, it’s hard enough to get in as a pre-admit as it is and you want to give yourself every edge you can get.

I agree. Only write about LSA if it is a serious consideration for you. If you’re passionate about Ross, write about that.
