Are All These March Sat Threads Legal???

Hey people, aren't the SAT threads (CR, M, WR) ILLEGAL?!?!?
:-/

The test is already over. Why would they be illegal?

Well they probably break the College Board's rules, but aren't illegal per say...

When the proctor was reading the instructions, I believe she did use the word "illegal." Perhaps it has something to do with copyright issues? The most likely explanation is that in different parts of the country/world, kids take the test at different times. They probably worry that a kid in, say, New York might call up their buddy in Hawaii and tell them about the questions or give them the answers.

at any rate I think it's past that point now?

Well actually, I just thought of something.
What about those kids in towns where their test centers were closed?
Some of the tests got postponed to March 15.
Are they going to get different tests?

I sure hope so lol.

ofc they get different tests, otherwise it's too easy for them to get a bonus

So does College Board just have all these extra tests on hand to give them?
I doubt they can make new tests in like 2 weeks.
And they'd have to make different versions...different test sections...dang.

I'm sure they always have a contingency test or tests on hand. And they can recycle the experimentals since they don't count.

Don't underestimate College Board's anti-cheating ability :P

I'm sure ETS has a plethora of tests to use.

hey op...

careface :-|

they do have different tests.. when i took the PSAT it got randomly shut down like 2 days later and we had a new test on our new test day

@SchoelScher- Nice use of sat vocab.

@OP- they have extra tests ready.

Pretty sure the same test is used.
Firstly, CollegeBoard doesnt have a "plethora" or new tests.
Second, the curve for about 8,000 kids taking it couldnt be different than that from the other 700,000 that took it on March 1st.

Its gotta be the same.

^ doubt it. it makes more sense that they have 2-5 "emergency" tests they can use. my brother's SAT 8 years ago was shut down (forget why), and they had a completely different test than others.

Collegeboard is preventing all types of cheating...

they even had different experimental sections for the same sections... basically two people with the experimental being CR don't necessarily have the same CR.

I believe they'd have a completely different test
