This is the Harvard forum, so you should repost your question here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/united-kingdom/
FWIW: For US colleges, Admissions Officers judge you in the context of your high school. If your high school does not offer AP’s, college’s do not expect students to have any AP’s on their transcript. However, if your high school offers many AP’s, Admissions expects to see many AP courses on your transcript along with the corresponding tests. I have no idea if that’s true for admission in the UK, which is why you need to ask in that forum.
I would assume they want to see exams in 3 subjects simulating A-levels. They accept AP exams from US students, so they probably will from other countries. There may be Indian exams or some other exams you can submit, but they want exams on at least the level of AP exams. I am definitely not an expert on this being in the US, and someone else may have more specific information.
Of course not. Have you even seen a UK university website? They only need the IELTS and your CBSE class 10 percentage and your class 12 predicted percentage.
Most UK universities will say what they expect from candidates from various foreign educational systems. What sort of grades are you getting, and/or have you any specific universities in mind?
