I think the AP Scores are on the transcript, but should my son request them to be sent separately just in case the colleges don't get them?

I asked the same question of our college counselor just before break, but did not get an answer back yet. I can't figure out how to send the AP scores to schools from the college board site. I don't know how to officially get them there. Anyone out there know?

Unless a school specifically says otherwise on its website or its instructions, the student only needs to self-report the scores on the application. Then, once the student has been accepted and has decided to go to that school, the student sends the official AP report only to that school, after receiving all AP scores including those taken in May of senior year. And the student only needs to send the official score report if the school he or she is attending gives credit/advanced standing for those scores.

The above link will explain how to send your AP scores. It involves a phone call.

As far as I know you don't send AP scores to a college only SAT. AP scores are used for college placement, so you send the official scores to the college that accepted you.
