Are Asians an URM at Vassar?

Are they? I only ask because I looked up Vassar on collegeboard and noticed that Asians only made up 8% of the student population (only one percent above hispanics!). And if so, would that greatly increase an Asian's chance of getting in next year?

I'm a South Asian female, and am looking into Vassar and other similar LAC. However, my GPA is relatively low (3.6ish UW) and my SATs are that high either (I'm projecting mid 2000s-low 2100s), so being an URM could really help me out!

Well I got in, and my SAT's were only a 2050. And I'm not a minority. So really your chances are fine, just make sure there are other high points about your application!

ya, same here as above poster, except 2040. focus on the essays. know that college admissions are random.

I heard that guys are an URM at Vassar

i've spoken with people there who say that the difference between the numbers of guys and girls isn't really that apparent

would being an asian male help at all in the admission process

I got a 2040 when I retook the SATs, up from a 1990. I also just received this big deal English award and have two good leaderships positions set up for next year. Will I also have a decent chance?

yes, you will.
