Are B+'s really that bad?

Looking at this website I always see people who say "I messed up my freshman/sophmore year. I got all Bs". Are B's really that bad for high school. I am in a top high school where out valedictorian didnt even have a 4.00 gpa. Our school only weights an AP with an extra .05 towards your gpa. I've been getting B+s all throughout high school and i have been in the toughest classes my school offers. I have taken 14 honors courses and 9 APs. Even though I have gotten a lot of As, majority of my grades are B+s. I always hear people say "i have a bad gpa, only 92". In my school a 90 is a 3.667, where in this website 3.7 is considered average. No one in my school has a A+ average.

My SATs are like 1450, 760 for Bio, 710 for Math II, and 690 for hemistry with a 32 in ACT so I know that my gpa cannot be average because my standardized test aren't.

Still I wonder how people so easily say that B+s are bad. I know I'm not at Ivy League level, but can I still get into some good colleges such as Boston University, University of Michigan, Boston College and Northwestern University?

CC is very elitist. People moan over the occasional B, thinking it'll kill them - quite simply, it won't.

A smattering of B+'s are fine for ANY college, ivy or not ... (especially if they are in very difficult courses, ie. AP or honors) And also, your scores look fine for all your schools :)

Have a little faith!
