Are CC senior transfers to SLO shunned or praised?

<p>If you’re in a major like engineering, and require courses that will eventually end to around 100 semester units by the time you transfer, does SLO take that against you?
I was trying to fulfill the UC igetc as well which explains by overabundance of units.
I’m scared now because on the SLO website, it says i’m a senior transfer :[.</p>

<p>I am wondering the same thing. I have nearly 100 units so it automatically put me as a senior level transfer. I am still waiting for a decision.</p>

<p>lol same. Mind telling me your guy’s GPA for reference to see if that has anything to do with the time the decisions are released?</p>

<p>Mine is 3.77 GPA. I got a total of 98 units by the time I transfer out of CC.</p>

<p>I was accepted as a senior level transfer nutrition major and will have a total of 109 semester units from my CC</p>

<p>100 units as a senior applicant in Mechanical Engineering… 3.6 GPA…I haven’t hear anything yet…</p>

<p>I had 106 completed CC semester units (GPA 3.65) when I transferred as a senior last year to Cal Poly in ENVE. I would like to think they prefer people who have more of their work done.</p>

<p>I believe I was one one of the first ones to be notified on CC, but I can’t say for sure.</p>

<p>This may seem like a dumb question, but if we have senior standing we are allowed to graduate within a year, right? I know some schools have a 2 year requirement, regardless of how many credits you come in with.</p>

<p>still waiting to hear back, but I’ll have 118 credits and around a 3.6 when I transfer</p>

ALL MAJOR PRE-REQS completed. IGETC Certified. Ah!! What gives!?</p>
