<p>I was thinking of topics for one of my college essays and I was thinking about talking about how im our family's "last hope" to go to a good college or out of state college, but Id assume that its a rather popular topic, should I not talk about that? thanks</p>
<p>I'm not sure that this is a popular topic, because it really doesn't seem to focus on a theme that shows the admission officers YOUR unique qualities/abilities.</p>
