are decisions being posted in waves?

does it make sense to wait for some more time or are they done for the day? does anyone know?

have they released the second wave? anyone?

i have no clue...i dont plan to sleep to night at all...its 3 am in texas and im gonna stay up all night to see if anything's posted

i think someone posted on another thread that they called CMU and CMU told them to check online on sunday

It does seem like a confusing notification process, but I can tell you that last year when my daughter was accepted that only the acceptances were put up on the "Where am I in the process page". A few days later the waitlists and rejections were put up. It had nothing to do with geographical location. Congrats to all of you who have "Accept" listed...you will surely get your fat acceptance package any day! :)

kaysmom, how does your d like CMU. My d just accepted and she has some hard choices to make now.

carsonmom, I just sent you an e-mail :)

wow - kaysmom's message seems to indicate that all who did not receive the "Accept" message have either been waitlisted or rejected

All I know is how it was done last year....I hope this year things are different and that people will still be getting accepted if you haven't heard yet!

:-(, I hope that is not the case. Not my #1 down the drain!!

Good luck to all, keep your spirits high!

Ughh i hope they don't post in waves, but i know a few schools have.

so anyone have the blank under documents sent and a blank under "decision"?? i really hope that they're just taking their time.

blehh.

Just called, she said they've been sending out letters in bunches all week ("no rhyme or reason") and mine was sent on the 26th, so I can't check online until the 30th...

I hope there really is no rhyme or reason!

^me too.

i'm praying that it doesn't mean anything.

that is what they told me also - let us hope that this does not mean waitlist or rejection

I just called - they looked up his name and told me my S's decision was mailed on the 26th and would be available online on the 30th. (Texas, last name begins with H, for what that's worth). So the first decisions must have been mailed on Monday for them to be posted today.

I saw the post that they released the Admit decisions first, then the WL and Denied, hoping that isn't the case. Has anyone else heard that?

^I don't think that is true. My friend got his w/l decision from SCS the same time he got his acceptance from CIT, which was 12:00 am today.

yatta! -- can you please elaborate -- what is w/I?

i m an intnl student ... nd i just called ... they told me letter was posted TODAIIIII ... WOW ... (damnnn...) ... so i hv to wait 4 more dayz i guess ...

is it possible tht letters mailed todaii mayb the rejected ones or the waitlisted ones ... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@$@

Does it mean the letters being sent later (after 24th) are for wait list or rejection letters?

i think they are being sent region wise ...
