<p>Yes, Duke and Cornell are need blind for US citizens. Who knows what your “real chances” are? If you don’t get sufficient FA to afford the school you can decline the acceptance.</p>
<p>There should be no mystery as to whether or not you’ll get aid unless your family has very complex finances. Both only offer need based aid. You can use their calculators or call the aid office at the schools and get a very good idea of what you would qualify for.</p>
