<p>hi. are ge clusters more work than just taking the ge classes separately. i am thinking about taking the environmental sustainability ge cluster, but i heard that ge clusters are a lot of work? also, my orientation is on september 3rd, will all the classes be full by then because on ucla website they say everyone has an equal chance of getting their classes no matter orientation session date, which my mom said is probably ********. thanks.</p>
<p>Regarding your second question, it might be hit-or-miss. Some popular classes are held–mostly introductory classes for freshmen such as math and chemistry. The general feeling, however, is that the earlier is still better. Even if you don’t get the classes you want during orientation, you still have a chance later in the summer when more sections open, and when some people drop some of their classes.</p>
<p>Yes; I’d advise against them. Not to mention they’re boring as a mother…</p>
