are good GPA-LSAT alone enough to guarantee admission?

I'm just curious what they look for so I don't miss anything. Is it a lot less holistic than UG, where other factors are emphasized more heavily? I think I can get a 180 LSAT pretty easily (I'm a very strong test-taker) and I'm going to Columbia College next year. If I get a 4.0 at Columbia with a 180 LSAT, does the combination pretty much guarantee admission to HLS, YLS, Stanford, and/or Columbia? Or do those schools look for more than that. Thanks for any replies.

u also need community service and leadership

this goes along with med, law, & business school too

since lsat and gpa are highly competitive factors between many individuals, leadership and community service may give you the edge

"I think I can get a 180 LSAT pretty easily"

Are you sure about that? I've never heard somebody so sure they're going to get a 180 on the LSAT.

well i just took my first practice LSAT last week and i got a 91 raw, which seems to range from 170-177 on the scale. also, i didnt really know what i was doing and wasted tons of time on the logic games, so i didn't get to answer some questions toward the end of the sections.

YLS and Stanford may not be a guarantee but the others are guarantees unless of course you committed a felony or something. YLS and Stanford have very small classes so they look more at the total package, the other schools just care about numbers. check out lawschoolnumbers.com and look at the graphs of people who got into HLS and Columbia, HLS basically will accept almost anyone with a 3.6 and 174+ while Columbia ia around a 171+ Obviously a few people get dinged here and there, but the chances are so rare that hey, just get that 4.0 and 180 and sit back and wait for all the acceptance letters.
