My teacher (first year teaching AP Calc BC) decided to skip them. So should I go over them in my spare time? Or are they insignificant for AP Calc BC?

they are not on the bc test, however for calc III in college you might need to know them, but eh, they’re not hard so you can learnthem if you need them, if you don’t need them yet I’d skip them for now.

Yes, I just took Calc III, and hyperbolic trig can possibly appear. So, you probably should learn them after taking the BC exam.

yea… i didn’t read of them being on the test but it can’t hurt to know them

they’re basically related and behave like any normal exponential would (even if the shape tends to throw ppl off)

They aren’t on the AP test, but it’s really simple to derivate and integrate, I think.
