I wrote the June 2015 SAT in Nigeria, Africa , I am absolutely sure that those are not my real scores, I have contacted CollegeBoard so-called helpline but it isn’t giving me the option to speak with a representative. Pls does anyone know if we can retake the SAT in Oct too like the US students. URGENT!!!
No
(not for free, at least)
@MITer94 don’t be offended but are you sure, have you contacted CollegeBoard and is that what they told you, and if so like how much. Where did you write your SAT by the way. Thank for the reply too.

@beauty101 it only says students who took it in the US were affected. If other countries were affected it would’ve said so.
I took the SAT four years ago.
Okay, thanks @MITer94
If you believe your test got mis-scored, you can pay for hand scoring. If your scores change due to Collegeboard error, the fee will be refunded.

There are many issues that can affect machine scoring, e.g. if the answer sheets got wet or smudged in the mail or if you used a pencil with a different hardness than an American #2 pencil. Unfortunately, there are also problems that would not be detected by hand re-scoring. For example, Collegeboard occasionally “force matches” an answer sheet to a student if no registered test taker perfectly matches the identifying information on the answer sheet.
Unfortunately, score verification is almost as expensive as re-taking the test.
