I am black, asian, and white. I was wondering if mixed race students are ever discriminated against whilst applying to colleges to get a feel for what may happen. If anyone could provide me with any tips or information on this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Why would you think they are?

Try to learn how it really works. Especially since you may be thinking tippy top colleges.
If you are an international student (“whilst”, apologies if you are not), then that will be a much bigger factor than anything else.
Oh okay
I don’t think mixed kids are discriminated at all! I mean, you would get in a bit of trouble if you are 1/16 black, and the rest white if you only put down black, but that’s just cause you lied. Honestly, as long as you provide diversity, you are fine. Since you are mixed, which only makes up about 5% of any given college, you are in the minority, so you will be fine.
How much are you of each? Geez, sounds like a silly question. Reason I ask is that it is way better to say black to improve chances of admissions. If you have enough of black (more than the others), I’d suggest checking that for your best chances.
I think reverse discrimination is the accepted status quo. You should be fine if you emphasize certain characteristics.
