$83 each which means by the time I'm done with H.S., I will have spent $830 on AP Tests alone, not including prep books. :(

I'm pretty sure that most people on CC fork about a $1000 over to the CB...

$10 per test because our state is finally becoming more awesome.

The first exam only costs $15, but after that its full price.

in my school, if you are taking the ap class, then you don't have to pay for it. If you are taking the test without class, then you have to pay $83 for each test.

Completely free in Florida, but you have to pay to not take the exam.

$83 for each test. But if you get free/reduced lunch (like me) you get a 100% fee waiver. This is in New York.

83 bucks, damn you college board.

Is this in all of Florida? I'm a soph and this is my first time taking AP exams.

Is so, that would be awesome. $160 is alot of money to pay for two tests.

In my school they charge 100$ (they keep the extra 17$ for proctor charges etc.). I am paying 400$ this year only on AP's... I hope I will get credit for some of this in college (and save money)...

I only have to pay $53/exam. school pays rest of it
im taking 4 this year

Im paying $10 dollars per exam in minnesota. Tax dollars at work right? Not that Im complaining.

Pretty sure it is free in Florida. Atleast its district wide for me, Jman. Yeah I know what you mean, I'm taking 6 exams this year and 9 next year for some of the semester classes.

You're right. I researched a little after your post and I found out that's free in Florida. One of my friends just told me the same thing.

Wow I have to pay $83 per exam...so that's $432
in NJ

dang, some of you guys are pretty lucky.
There'a fee waivers, but only if your family income is small.

It's $85 here in Southern California though

Florida is awesome. We have Bright Futures and free AP exams. :D

Wow, Florida seems so awesome!! Is it true that all/most schools there offer the IB? I remember reading about something like this..

There are three high schools in my county (out of 15) that have an IB program, and the schoolboard is trying to convert more to IB. Some of the top schools in the state have strong IB programs.

However, all of the schools have either an IB Program, a Cambridge Program, or a program that involves extra graduation requirements (with AP), so there are no "normal" high schools.

Three public schools in my county with IB as well (but out of 40 or so).
