AP for College Admission
Hello I am a senior this year and my school offers almost all of the AP classes available. Last year I took AP Government and AP Language and Composition. This year I am signed up for AP Psychology, AP Stats, and AP Literature and Composition. I really want to get into some good colleges in the midwest like the University of Michigan, Northwestern, and others. Also iIreally want to major in political science or international relations and/or pre-law. My question for all of you is, are my senior AP classes considered too easy for good schools? Should I switch into A/B Calc or AP Bio or AP Chem. Or do you think my schedule shows enough rigor?

You should be pursuing the courses that interest you and will be the best use of your time and interests. If all of the APs that you are in now are what interest you, then I suggest you stick with them.
From what I hear, psych and stats are easier APs but perhaps you could use this to your advantage to pursue other interests or to find ways to expand on what you do in those classes. You could also opt for taking four APs so you dont drop any.

There’s absolutely no way of us knowing if that’s a rigorous schedule for you or not, as none of us know anything about the courses offered at your school and the average student’s course load. You’d be better served talking to your guidance counselor.
