AP for College Admission

Hello I am a senior this year and my school offers almost all of the AP classes available. Last year I took AP Government and AP Language and Composition. This year I am signed up for AP Psychology, AP Stats, and AP Literature and Composition. I really want to get into some good colleges in the midwest like the University of Michigan, Northwestern, and others. Also iIreally want to major in political science or international relations and/or pre-law. My question for all of you is, are my senior AP classes considered too easy for good schools? Should I switch into A/B Calc or AP Bio or AP Chem. Or do you think my schedule shows enough rigor?

The question is are you willing to put in the time? AP Chem with all that would look awesome. (I’m a humanities person and AP Chem was fun!) But if you’re in a lot of time consuming ECs and a science AP would bring down your GPA don’t do it. Do everything you can handle but nothing more. Good luck with U of M and Northwestern!

I am more of a social studies type also.
I asked my GC about this a few days ago…he said science would be great (AP Chem) but I had alreafy distinguished myself in the social sciences and that’s what colleges would want from me.
