I realize that I probably would not be accepted into any ivy league schools so I have come up with a list of schools that I plan on applying to. I just want some feedback to see if I really stand a chance at these colleges or if I should lower my expectations. I'm looking for suggestions of other colleges if these ones aren't in my ballpark.
GPA:4.0 UW
ACT : 32-C 29-M 32-E 34-R 34-S, the second highest ACT score at my school is like a 24, do colleges get that sort of info?
Class Rank: 5/122, This is based on UW gpa at our school and people in Mock Trial get an extra honors A every year so that brings me down.

I live in Ohio, but I am looking for an out of state college that preferably meets full need.
Now for my list of colleges...
Reaches - University of Chicago, Georgetown
Matches - Oberlin, Case Western, Wellesley, Northwestern, Colgate University
Safety - Miami University (OH)
Do you think this is realistic or should I consider some of my matches reaches?

Northwestern and Colgate are reaches still.

bump

Consider adding Emory and Vanderbilt to your list. They are still highly selective, but not like the Ivys and they claim to meet full need.

Will you be able to afford Miami as an Ohio state resident? You meet criteria for some merit scholarships. Definitely apply as you are probably eligible for some scholarships and aid as an Ohio resident.

I have looked into Emory and Vanderbilt, but they are not good fits for me. I’m trying to stay out of the south with Georgetown being the only possible exception. Miami does offer some generous merit scholarships that I would be eligible for, that’s why they’re kind of a financial safety for me.

One last bump

I think your reaches are UChicago, Northwestern and Wellesley.

I’d call Georgetown a low reach or a high match.

Colgate, CWRU, and Oberlin are probably matches.

FYI – if you plan on visiting Colgate, you might as well also visit Hamilton and Cornell. Hamilton is probably another match while Cornell is about as hard to get into as Northwestern.
