Are My Extracurriculars Good or Crap?

People have been telling me that my ECs are trivial and have nothing to do with what I want to major in (possibly Medicine, Business, or Film... I have no idea right now (Junior in High School). So pretty much I just want to get some expert opinion as to exactly how "bad" my Ecs are.

Extracurriculars:

Member of the school ASB (planning to run for president).

Member of the school Production Crew/ News Show (plan to get executive position)

Member of Junior Statesmen of America

Member of Link Crew

Track and Field

Tae Kwon Do Black Belt (5 years)

And my last EC as of now (the one considered to be "insignificant"). I enjoy cinematography and have recently started a productions "company". I been interested in this since I was 8 so I'm pretty dedicated. I've been doing some commercial work recently and have gotten paid. I've also made promotional videos for local business/organizations, and have also photographed such events. I'm also planning to start a Youtube Channel (making high quality meaningful videos). I plan to expand this "EC" further and eventually make some meaningful documentaries and enter film festivals. I'm also entering a variety of contests and scholarship contests for cinematography. So do you guys think this is a good EC regardless of my major? I really just wanna tell people that are ridiculing this to **** off.

If it matters I have a 4.4 GPA and as of now a 2010 on SAT*

Much Thanks.

bump for responses

I think the cinematography is strong. That being said I think some of the clubs are not so strong, mainly because you are just a member which means if you wanted to you could just show up at meetings and do nothing.

Colleges are NOT interested in seeing a laundry list of meaningless activities.

Activities in themselves have little intrinsic value. You add the value when you put in time, energy, creativity, etc. You put in the value when you develop your curiosity, persistence, decision-making skills, etc. Activities are just movie sets; you write the scripts.

Your cinema interest sounds like a nominee for an Oscar, or at least a Sundance showing.
