are my grades and scores good enough?

I am applying to UCSB, UCSD, Cal Poly.. my main choice is UCSD becasue I want to play basketball there as well. I have a 3.83 grades 10-12 weighted, 29 ACT, 1880 SAT.. I am the captain of my basketball team and ive done about 100 hours of community service. Im planning on majoring in either biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics. Is it unrealistic to try for UCLA? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

UCSD is supposed to be tougher to get into than Cal Poly engineering.

For Fall 2010 Cal Poly admitted engineering freshman stats:

Avg GPA = 4.03
Avg ACT = 31
Avg SAT = 1372 out of 1600

I presume you will need to be higher than these stats to be admitted into UCSD and definitely even higher for UCLA.
