Okay I know what you're all thinking. There are sooo many threads concerning ssat scores but I can't help but wonder if mine are acceptable for some HADES schools.

Okay I got high 90's in verbal :D
but reading and math....not so nice
My math really irks me (think way below 75 percentile) because I am in a pretty high math class (don't mean to brag)

Overall my score is high 80's but still. I don't know if I should retake them or not.
Oh and Happy New Year lol

Well, depends on how low it is… I got a 48th in math so I’m retaking it Even though I’m actually not bad at math

Mine was higher than 48 (no offense) But I had ONE good score and 2 bad ones. You got 2 amazing scores…

shameless bump…please opinions are greatly appreciated. Help me kick off 2011 with some peace of mind !

i personally honestly think you’re fine, if you’re in an advanced math class with consistently good grades i don’t think it’ll be too difficult to overlook one test score.

but if you have the means ($$$) and the time, and are positive you can improve, by all means retake it.
best of luck! happy new year!

Thank you so much Dive, I hope (and think that you will) get into your dream school (s)

No worries, people have got into Andover with scores in the 70. If you an overall well rounded person, then you’re definitely qualified. It depends how you are with everything. The SSAT is not going to decide everything.

@polodolly,
When I first took the SSAT I got a 59% in math. I (like you) do pretty well in math. I am in Algebra 1 and I do pretty well. My advice to you is to try to get a cheap tutor and retake in January. That’s what I did and my score went up almost 20 points! Good luck!
