Thanks! @fauve

“Doomed”? Oh please.

OP, you need match and especially safety schools.

@PurpleTitan I have a lot of match and safety schools but I was just asking about some of the reach schools I will be applying to. Thanks!

For some of these schools, you will have to submit everything (e.g. Stanford), so don’t worry about those, they are out of your control. For the rest, I would really recommend just sending your ACT as long as you score above 28 or so on everything. I think a 580 could be concerning to admissions officers, they might think the difficulty of your school’s English curriculum is suspect. I do agree that the discrepancy is odd, I’ve never really seen anyone who does so well on the writing and is almost 200 points lower on the reading. Good job on everything else though!

@butterfreesnd thanks for your input! I appreciate it!

Hey guys I just got my ACT scores back and I got:
34 English
35 Math
29 Reading
29 Science

32 Composite.

I am going to take it one more time to try and focus on my reading and science so I can hopefully bring them up to 33+ which would give me a superscore of 34+. What do you guys think? Are these better than my SAT scores and/or will they help my chances?
